Unfinished Business is the uncompleted wishes, desires and fantasies about who you are and what you want to experience in life. There are two basic types of unfinished business. The first is Forward Going - the experiences you want to have that add passion, purpose and joy to these potential-laden years of your life. The second type is Emotional - the experiences you have had which are holding your energy hostage - all the woulda', coulda', shoulda's of your life. The resolution of your unfinished business can be the difference between a vital, productive life and one of unfulfilled aspiration, increasing boredom and eventual emptiness.
In the Third Age, much of the stories of our lives are about our unfinished business. To begin the process of resolution, it is vital that Third Agers get to tell their stories. By recording these stories The Third Age Foundation is becoming a reservoir of information and statistics about this time of life. In all the foundation's contacts with the public - speeches, presentations, workshops, groups, coaching - we encourage people to tell their stories. We want to hear your story.
